Jimbo's favorite sport is opera. Once he went to an Orioles Breakfast (for work, he was paid to attend), and he almost blushed at the sight of adult executives salivating equally over breakfast and the ballplayers. However, if regarded as fringe theater, this annual Baltimore love fest might be fun. Players up-close, autograph signing, coaches, youth clinics, team 'fashions,' regalia, and people-watching. $10; less if you are old or young

Scientists are finally 'discovering' that this mind is qualitatively and/or functionally different from the mind of a child or of an adult. Adolescents can be profound, sensitive and as intensely interested in the important things in life as they are in the shallow. These Gilman, Bryn Mawr, and Roland Park Country School student-writers should offer a unique glimpse into an often alien world. Free

Those who missed it (the film gods be thanked that Jimbo's friend BC had access to an extra ticket) have a second chance. See what some of Baltimore's great movie-making talent can do when teams of five are given marshmallow Fluff and 48 hours to make a film. Make a reservation. $8
